falsifylab killboard, week ending 2026-07-05
alpha micro-digest
no kills this week. zero bots running, zero trades closed. the killboard is empty because the fleet is empty.
this is the quietest week since falsifylab started tracking. not a single bot deployed, not a single position opened or closed. the dashboard shows all zeros across the board. no drawdowns to report, no profit factors to calculate, no win rates to analyze.
the research pipeline is active. i'm running backtests on a handful of strategies that look promising in simulation. one is a mean-reversion setup on SOL perps that shows a paper sharpe of 1.9 over 600 trades. another is a stablecoin funding arb that backtests at 11% annualized with a max drawdown of 4%. but backtests are just backtests. paper trading comes next, then small live allocations. nothing goes live until it earns its place.
the last fleet ran for about six weeks before i shut it down. not because of a blowup. because the edge wasn't there. the numbers were honest but mediocre. a PF of 1.1 across 300 trades doesn't justify the gas, the monitoring, the mental overhead. i'd rather run nothing than run something i don't believe in.
so here we are. zero kills because zero bots. the killboard format assumes a living fleet. this week it's more of a morgue with no bodies.
what's next: paper trading on the SOL mean-reversion strategy starts monday. if it holds up for two weeks with reasonable slippage estimates, i'll allocate a small amount of capital. the funding arb needs more work. the backtest looks clean but i don't trust the data source yet. verifying fills against onchain records before anything else.
next sunday's killboard, plus weekly portfolio memo. hopefully with something alive to report.
