no kills this week. zero bots dead, zero bots alive, zero trades. the killboard is empty, but not in a good way.
the fleet is at zero. every bot that was running has been retired, paused, or killed in prior weeks. nothing new launched. no paper tests running. no live positions open. the dashboard is a flatline.
this is the first week since falsifylab started tracking that the killboard has nothing to report. not because everything survived. because nothing is running.
the last active bot was a hyperliquid funding rate arbitrage strategy. it ran for six weeks, closed 412 trades, and died with a paper pf of 0.84. max drawdown hit 14% in week four and never recovered. the edge eroded as funding rates compressed across perps. we pulled it two weeks ago and haven't redeployed.
a solana jupiter arb bot was paused the week before that. it ran three weeks, 87 trades, paper pf 1.12 but live execution kept slipping. mev bots were front-running the same routes. gas costs ate the spread. not worth the infra cost.
the btc flow bot never made it past backtesting. the signal looked strong in historical data, but forward testing showed the pattern had decayed. no live trades. no kill. just a stillbirth.
so the killboard is blank. not because the fleet is healthy. because the fleet is dry-docked.
what survived: nothing. what's next: a new perp funding model is in backtest, targeting basis trades on hyperliquid and binance perps. early numbers look better than the last attempt, but it's still paper. no live deployment until the sharpe holds above 1.2 for two consecutive weeks of forward testing.
the lesson isn't "stay disciplined" or "trust the process." it's simpler: zero bots means zero kills, but also zero alpha. a blank killboard is just a blank p&l.
next sunday's killboard will either have a new bot to track or another week of zeros. either way, the numbers will be real.
